When you launch in a rocket, you are not really flying the rocket, you are just sort of hanging on.
Then, why don't you hang in here?
Launch your rockets and let us see whose goes the farthest. The tone is set for the event. Your task is simple.
Build a rocket with the required specifications – Launch it – Your job is done. The more simple the design,the more effective is your rocket's performance. So folks, start building a rocket using your very own ideas and test your vehicle here at the base station of Matrix'13.
1.To emerge as the winner, one has to battle out two gruesome rounds.
2.The first round will test the ability of the rocket to fall within the target given.
3.The target will be disclosed only at the time of event.
4.Eventually the shortlisted ten candidates are to fight their way out by covering the maximum distance using the launch pad given.
5.It is preferred that only teams of three enrol for this event.
6.The teams are expected to build a rocket using only a two litre bottle.
7.Double stage is not allowed.
8.The teams are to use the given launch pad.
9.In case of any discrepancies, the coordinator's interpretation is deemed to be right.
10.The performance of the rocket is tested based on distance travelled by the rocket, stability, angle of deviation, and proper landing.
11.Organiser's decision will be final and binding.
