        Vadavalli Nair Service Society is an independent society with the aims and objectives to promote the cultural, educational & social well being of the members of the Society residing in & around Vadavalli, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu in order to establish closer contact with our community. It was the year when our collegiate club's footmarks were first imprinted in the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), which owns pride & rich history. It was indeed a prospective debut into the global body. A communication dated 28th August 2002 from the SAE International, Warrendale, USA acknowledged the continuous efforts & enthusiasm of every individual member in the club by elevating our club's status to 'SAE Collegiate Branch'.

        Art is not what you see, but what you make others see. The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance. The job of the artist is always to deepen the mystery and to be an artist is to believe in life…. Our music and fine arts club “LAYAM” of Sri Krishna College of Engineering & Technology is one such initiative, which kindles the artistic interests in our student community, helping them exhibiting their artistic talents through various events organised by our club round the year.

        The SKCET Alumni Association was established in the year 2002. Every year during the last week of December, the Alumni Association organises a grand reunion of all the batches. Various events are organised during the reunion, which are both knowledge sharing and entertaining in nature. The aim of the association is to maintain lifelong links with the former students, to celebrate their successes and to provide support for their future. The institution firmly believes that the strong alumni base of SKCET can definitely motivate and impress the current students.
