A few words about the Club
Art is not what you see, but what you make others see. The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance. The job of the artist is always to deepen the mystery and to be an artist is to believe in life…. Our music and fine arts club “LAYAM” is one such initiative, which kindles the artistic interests in our student community, helping them exhibiting their artistic talents through various events organised by our club round the year.

Dhwani is the cultural fest conducted every year in our campus with fullest excitement and enthusiasm. Its an exhibition platform for various student artists from our college to compete in various musical & fine arts events and win exciting prizes. Pongal Celebrations 2014
Pongal, which is celebrated in countries such as India, marks the start of sun’s six-month long journey northwards (Uttarayana). This observance occurs annually around January 14 each year. Hindus consider the date as auspicious and mark this as the beginning of sun’s movement towards the zodiac Capricorn (Makarm Rashi).
