Keeping pace with the changing times and technologies, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology has come a long way since its modest beginning in 1998. Today it is ranked among the frontline Engineering Colleges in Tamilnadu and has been granted Autonomous status. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

About the Department
The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering aims to provide technical exposure, career improvement and development of human, social and intellectual qualities necessary to become successful engineers and responsible citizens of the country. The department has made remarkable contributions of quality and disciplined citizens to the society till date.
The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering started in the year 2001. It has an intake of 180 students. The department oers a Four-year BE degree Programme in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) accredited by National Board of Accreditation and 2 year PG Programme in Power Electronics and Drives.
The department is well equipped with the latest equipment in Electrical Machines Lab, Power Electronics Lab, Control Systems Lab, Measurements and Instrumentation Lab, Electronics and Design Lab, Electrical Drives and Control Lab and Power System Simulation Lab. A team of motivated faculty caters to the ever challenging needs of technical excellence in all the areas of electrical and electronics engineering.
