Line Follower Robot

Team size: 3 students.
Event Date: 25th September,2012.
Prerequisites:

Cross college participants are allowed.

Maximum number of sensors allowed is 5.

The size of the robot should be within 20cm*20cm*20cm
-
Maximum of 4 motors can be used.

Line Followers must be self contained, and not externally operated by wire or by remote radio control during the race.

No AC power supply will be provided by us.

The robot can use only DC battery as source.(Max = 12v)
-
All the necessary kits (Robots, Laptops, etc.,) must be brought by the participants.
About the Race*

The event takes place in two tracks.

Track I consist of simple curves.
-
Only 50% of the total participants will be selected for the next track.
-
Track II is complex and consist of loops and cross roads.
-
Points are given based on time taken to complete, number of times the robots gets off the track and coding.
-
Judge’s decision is final.
