Rules and regulation:

1. The competition is open to undergraduate students of all disciplines.
2. The paper should be only on the topics specified.
3. Registration is compulsory.
4. The research work done need not necessarily have been done as part of a separate, standalone research program. All the work you have done as part of projects in courses, your summer research work, the B.Tech. / B.E. Projects  are welcomed.
5. The ABSTRACT of not more than 500 words (and not the FULL PAPER) should be e-mailed to technovation2012@gmail.combefore January 7th, 2012 (till 5PM)
6. The abstract should not contain specific details of your paper but an overview that should give us an understanding of the level of your presentation as well as the depth of your research.
7. Intellectual Property Rights and patenting issues (if any) related to your project must be mentioned along with the abstract.
8. The selected candidates will be intimated on or before January 18th, 2012.
9. Maximum of two authors per paper is admissible.    
10. The paper selection procedure is purely based on the abstracts sent by you.

THE FORMAT OF YOUR ABSTRACT SHOULD BE AS FOLLOWING:

1. Topic of presentation.
2. Name of your Institute along with address.
3. Name of first author, year of study, contact details (Mobile number and Email ID).
4. Name of second author, year of study, contact details (Mobile number and Email ID).
5. Abstract not exceeding 500 words.
6. References and extractions.

AFTER SELECTION:

1. Selected participants need to send a soft copy of complete paper to technovation2012@gmail.com and two hard copies by courier or speed post to
   P.Varunkumar (09CE33),
   Room No. T-109,
   Thirumalai block,
   CIT, Civil Aerodrome post,
   Coimbatore-641014.
2. Presentations must be in Microsoft PowerPoint format only, not exceeding 20 slides.
3. The order of presentation shall be determined by lot.
4. The duration for presentation will be 6 minutes and 3 minutes will be allotted for discussion and queries.
5. Judge's adjudication is final.
